Now, it’s good to point out that I’m not a shopaholic, I don’t know tons about clothes brands or follow the latest fashion trends. However, I do appreciate good quality clothes, and I do love when I enter a very welcoming and friendly store that simply inspires me.
Today’s post is about that – lifestyle and inspiration – the new Anthropologie store in Palo Alto.
Anthropologie Store in Palo Alto
If you’re an Anthropologie fan or you are just browsing around to be inspired by something, you should definitely check out Anthropologie’s new store at Stanford Shopping Center. The store opened their doors last November, it’s approximately three times larger than other locations, and include their exclusive BHLDN (Bridal) and Terrain brands.
Anthropologie Palo Alto is just MASSIVE. I find that we can almost visit the store as if we were sightseers. OK, maybe not to that extreme. The point is that this two floor new concept store offers so much under one roof – clothing collections, home furnishing, bridal, shoes, beauty, jewelry selection, garden goodies – and everything is displayed so thoughtfully and with great care that you can easily spend quite some time looking around. It feels like retail therapy. In addition, one very cool thing about this store is that they also highlight super local Bay Area artisans in a major way.
Good to Know: you will find their items on sale on the second floor of the store. There are lots to go through 🙂
How about if you get hungry? Don’t worry, Anthropologie Palo Alto also thought of that. The store has an entrance to Terrain Cafe to round this up. Terrain Cafe is a great addition to the whole shopping experience. The cafe/restaurant is very atmospheric (my husband and I had a date night there not too long ago), and they for sure serve great food.
Be prepared to be absolutely overwhelmed, to have a great shopping experience, and be inspired! So, lo and behold, let me show you a little bit of the visuals of the Anthropologie store in Palo Alto.
Anthropologie opened its very first doors in 1992 in Wayne, Pennsylvania. They now operate over 200 stores worldwide, and it’s driven by the innovative women’s apparel.
Our customer is a creative-minded woman, who wants to look like herself, not the masses. She has a sense of adventure about what she wears, and although fashion is important to her, she is too busy enjoying life to be governed by the latest trends. To her, Anthropologie is a portal of discovery—a brush with what could be. A place for her to lose—and find—herself. “
